Ensure and optimize – Your responsibilities
The Service Management division of Media-Saturn IT Services GmbH is responsible for the operation of our IT systems and applications.
We are currently looking for an IT support specialist (f/m) who will be responsible for the system administration of our online shop. Your responsibilities focus on the following:
As system administrator of our e-commerce systems, you ensure smooth operation and support for front-end and back-office systems.
You are responsible for fast and sustainable incident and problem management, process service requests and coordinate external service providers
You make an active contribution to development project from an operational point of view
You monitor all the systems involved, rectifying errors and recognizing problems proactively

Experience in the operation and support of e-commerce applications
Assured handling of standardized support processes, ideally according to ITIL
Experience with Unix derivatives and basic knowledge of SQL
Good working knowledge of SQL database systems

A university degree in (business) information technology or a similar subject, comparable vocational training or comparable job experience
A very good command of written and spoken English, good skills in German language as an advantage
