Design and implement – Your responsibilities
The Service Management department of Media-Saturn IT Services GmbH is responsible for the operation of our IT systems and applications as well as for our test environment and testing activities.
We are currently looking for an IT architect (m/f) for requirements management and the engineering of our test infrastructure with focus on the expansion of our online shops. Your responsibilities include the following:
You analyze and evaluate our test infrastructure with regard to technical requirements and provide our colleagues with the appropriate advice
You also coordinate the various interests and needs relating to test management, release management and project management, as well as manage implementation together with our external service providers
You design the test infrastructure and thus represent the special needs of the test environments and the impact of the releases
You cooperate closely with the solution architects, providing them with information on the experience gained with the test architecture so that this information can be incorporated in the planning of future technologies
You keep an eye out for potential for optimization and increase our effectiveness through automation
Know-how and drive – Your profile
If you the way you think and act is both process- and customer-oriented, you are a team player, and you are highly motivated, we can be a success together. You should also bring with you:
A university degree in (business) information technology or comparable vocational training or job experience
At least four years of experience with IT architectures in an operational or test environment, ideally with focus on e-commerce systems
Practical experience designing IT architectures and managing external service providers
Knowledge of databases (Oracle, MySQL, and if possible Solid) and application servers (Websphere, JBoss)
Project management certification and ITIL V3 certification are desirable; relevant technical certification, e.g. Websphere, would also be of advantage
A very good command of written and spoken English; ideally a good command of German
