Manage and optimize – Your responsibilities
The Service Management – Application Operation department of Media-Saturn IT Services GmbH is, among other things, responsible for the availability and operation of our central SAP systems.
We are currently looking for several SAP Basis administrators (m/f). Your responsibilities focus on the following:
You look after existing SAP installations (SAP ERP, SAP HCM, SAP BW, SAP Enterprise Portal, SAP SolMan – on the basis of Netweaver 7.0/ 7.3) including database administration (Oracle 11g)
You are responsible for incident and problem management in cooperation with departments and business units
You work closely with the Infrastructure Operation department and our external service providers
You create system concepts, maintain instruction manuals and configure the CCMS and the transport management system
You configure and use the SAP Solution Manager, install and configure databases (Oracle and HANA) and carry out performance management
You are responsible for upgrading SAP systems, implementing enhancement packages and provide support to projects that involve SAP systems

A degree in (business) information technology or similar area, comparable vocational training or comparable job experience
A good working knowledge of SAP Basis and at least two years of experience in SAP Basis administration
In-depth knowledge of the latest SAP Basis technologies (Netweaver 7.0/ 7.3) and Oracle databases (11g), SAP HANA know-how would be advantageous
A good understanding of the operating system AIX
A very good command of written and spoken English, good skills in German language as an advantage
