Manage and optimize – Your responsibilities

The Service Management division of Media-Saturn IT Services GmbH is responsible for the operation of all our IT systems and applications.

We are currently looking for an IT application support specialist (m/f) for SharePoint Server 2010. Your responsibilities focus on the following:

You operate SharePoint Server 2010 farms and the associated SQL Server database clusters
You carry out your work using ITIL service management processes (e.g. incident and problem management in the context of 2nd level support)
You check the systems regularly with regard to stability, performance and errors
You maintain, update and expand the systems in coordination with other departments, business units and external service providers
You carry out deployments made available by departments and business units and make any necessary adjustments to the central administration facility
You support users, departments and business units by 2nd level support
You coordinate necessary changes to the features and solutions, operating systems, hardware and networks with the appropriate departments and business units

You should have a logical-analytical approach and solving technical problems should be second nature to you. You should also bring with you

At least two years of experience in the administration of Microsoft Office SharePoint 2007 and/or SharePoint Server 2010 farms
Extensive experience in the administration of Microsoft Server 2005 (and later) database clusters
A degree in (business) information technology or similar area, comparable vocational training or comparable job experience
A very good command of written and spoken English, good skills in German language as an advantage
