Toyota Technical Center (R&D) in Europe is responsible for the planning, development and production of attractive, superior quality cars matching European market requirements.

The Powertrain Division is a.o. responsible for conduction and coordination of the design and the evaluation of Diesel engines component parts for next generation Toyota vehicles.

Your Challenge

You will be responsible to design Engine Component parts:

fixing part specification making design by Drawing, CAD, FEA, DRBFM manage parts preparation & testing with EU suppliers from prototype until production stage

Conduct functional & durability test on bench:

prepare test plan attend test on bench analyse test results & issue reports

Master in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering
Excellent knowledge of design, function and requirements of all engine component parts
Good skills in measurement techniques & data acquisition software (Matlab, Labview, Excell)
Good skills in CAD software (Catia/Pro-e) & simulation software (FEA,...)
Very good communication skills in English (spoken and written)
Ability to manage job, time and work independantly
Good interaction skills between different departments including Toyota HQ in Japan and also suppliers
Ability to conduct basic engineering calculations
