Global Supply Chain Management is at the heart of Toyota's Manufacturing Operations in Europe. Key areas covered by the group include:
-Plan and manage Toyota’s European Production Parts Logistics to achieve Safety, Cost & Delivery objectives, in accordance with the concepts of the Toyota Production System (TPS)
-Leadership for, and Planning of European Parts Export to Toyota Plants Worldwide to achieve Quality, Cost and Delivery Objectives Manage the Distribution of Vehicles produced in Europe and Japan to the European Dealer Network
-Plan and co-ordination of all New Vehicle Projects from the Concept Design to Start of Production to ensure achievement of Business Objectives
-Plan and control the Production for all of Toyota’s European Manufacturing Plants to meet the sales demand within the plant constraints and efficiency targets.
Your challenge
As a member of the Production Parts Logistics Department, you will be assigned to a Team where you will be expected to take the lead for the following in your assigned region:
Logistics Plan: Designing logistics routes to achieve the required capacity (m3/Day), following the principles of Just-In-Time and minimising cost (Drivers, tractor, trailer & km)
Operational Implementation: Working with the Logistics Partners to implement the Logistics Plan and manage the counter-measure of any abnormalities in both the Transport and Cross-Docks
Cost Control: Evaluation and tracking of Logistics Cost and CO2 emissions for the specific routes under your responsibility
Kaizen: Identification of waste and implementation of countermeasures to achieve Continuous Improvement through the Monthly PDCA Cycle.

| Requisitos: |
University Degree, preferably in Logistics or Engineering
Technical Skills:
Highly numeric, with strong logical and analytical skills
Ability to develop creative ways for operational and cost improvement
Ability to manage operational issues.
Personal Skills:
Strong team player with good communication skills
Flexibility to travel within Europe (1 / Month ~ 1/2 Months)
•Fluent in English, any other European language is an asset
