The job will require:

Manage various operation teams within agreed financial budgets and in support of strategic business plans. The team will consist of front-line, mid office and back office infrastructure staff dealing with the servicing of large Corporate and SME clients.

To be aware of changing industry standards and their impact upon the work of the corporate operations team and subsequent alteration to working practices.

Proactively managing the day-to-day operation of the team, to ensure that the team provides optimum service at all times within regulatory and control requirements.

Responsible for ensuring development of a professional well trained, highly motivated workforce capable of delivering on the service ambitions.

Lead, motivate, manage and inspire a team.

Ensure that any "outsourced" work is managed effectively.

University graduate, preferably with a postgraduate qualification from a prestigious business school.

Senior leader with a proben experience of 15 years in operations/infrastructure of large scale banking or financial services business.

Experience in: trade finance, cash management, foreign exchange and ideally also in retail banking. Deep knowledge of these products in the spanish market.

Deep knowledge of banking operations, ideally with corporate and retail experience.Experience in manage costs/benefits and risks.

Effective in a global, matrix organization.Track record of transforming large organizations.

Spanish speaking and very high level of English.
