TME R&D centre is responsible for:

Making concept proposal towards and Developing vehicle for EU core models.

Reflecting EU technology to Toyota Vehicles timely by utilizing location advantage and strong network with EU partners

Body Engineering 1 is a major division responsible for design & development of Instrument panel l, Interior and Seat for
European Vehicles where, skilled engineers utilise advanced CAD and CAE to design and develop body interior systems, from concept phase to serial production.

Your Challenge

As Interior Body Designer, you will be responsible for developing interior parts for future models from concept-phase till production series.

Identify improvement points and propose realistic ideas to be further developed in close collaboration with supplier and manufacturing plant.

Managing the total design development (e.g. making specifications, controlling the schedule, managing part list and actual design with Catia) while achieving the cost / mass target and satisfying all evaluations requirements

Degree in Engineering or Industrial Design
Min. 2 years relevant experience in developing part at supplier or OEM
Excellent communication skills
3D imagination and sketch ability
Engineering knowledge
Fluent in English
Basic Catia V5 knowledge will be an asset

Good problem solving skills
Challenge spirit
Travel 30% maximum.
