We are recruiting a IT Governance for a leading international travel group. This person will be responsible for the IT Governance team to ensure principles and standards are developed to best practice. Experience of 2 years in a similar role is required.

Our client is a leading international travel group head-quartered in UK employing almost 50 000 employees around the globe.

Function
As a IT Governance, your objective will be assuming responsibility in the IT Governance team to ensure principles and standards are developed to best practice level and delivered through the IT organization.

Your main responsibilities:

-Provide line management responsibility for the IT Governance to ensure the needs of the organisation are fulfilled
-Provide advice and guidance to IT teams to ensure they are able to effectively identify and mitigate risks in an efficient and effective manner assuming the responsibility for delivering
-Generate IT Governance and SDLC Governance including the performance measurements and metrics
-Provide training and mentoring to project and process teams and key stakeholders
-Respond effectively to inquiries for information and process support while representing IT Governance
-Establish interpret, recommend and implement new or modified IT governance policies
-Standards enforcement, review and compliance
-Ensure risk management is effectively delivered within IT covering all aspects, ie. Identification of all risks across IT, measure the impact and effect, among others
-Define, create and maintain the IT governance framework
-Define the communication plan internally and externally in IT (i.e. Newsletter)
-Enhancement of KPIs
-Support the Board report generation
-Knowledge base implementation
-Welcome package creation and update

We are looking for a person with the following qualifications, experience and skills:

Qualifications

-University Degree or higher in Technology or related field

Experience

-Minimum 2 years in a similar role, ie. IT Governance, IT Audit, IT Consulting
-Professional experience of successful best practice implementations
-General understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design.

Skills

-Fluent English is a must
-Good to have Certifications ITIL, COBiT, ISO 20000, BCI, CRISC, CISA, IRM, PRMIA
