Accenture Outsourcing Services needs to hire a Network Engineer.

Position Summary:
Deploy, maintain and support of Networks and IP Traffic Management technologies with a focus on the Madrid DC network infrastructure (corporative) and other office locations. This position may also require some regional support activities within other geographic areas.

Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, maintain and support security and network technologies to provide business connectivity needs for the EMEA / BBAA delivery center clients, remote sites and required client locations.
- Deploy, configure and maintain a variety of technologies including: Cisco Switches, Cisco Routers, Load Balancers, Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, others), WAN Technologies (MPLS, ATM, LAN2LAN, etc), Packeteer Packet Shapers, Nortel Contivity Switches to support Accenture within EMEA/AME clients.
- Provide operational support for deployed technologies including Tier 3 fault escalation and operational changes. Position will require On Call coverage to support this mission critical facility.
- Manage vendor/product provisioning, procurement, and delivery of voice and data network service, hardware and software to agreed service levels and budgets.
- Manage of complex network projects with minimal supervision or guidance.
- Work with multiple client groups to ensure that shared infrastructure is meeting the functional, service levels and budgetary requirements.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge on the deployment of network and voice technologies.
- Report project status on a weekly basis.
- Report issues to local management and area management on a weekly basis.

- Education: University degree (preferred) in a technical area (engineering or computer science), supporting additional professional certifications (eg, CISCO, Juniper, Checkpoint, others certification)
- Work Experience: Minimum two to three years real work/practical IT experience pertaining to engineering, operations, deployment and support of complex technical LAN, WAN, Firewall/VPN and voice environments. Experience with CISCO/Checkpoint, F5, Juniper network/security equipment and IDS/IPS technologies.
- Strong English skills.
- Proficiency in office automation tools (MS Office Project/Excel/PowerPoint/Word, and Visio).
