We are recruiting a Cleaning Operations Manager for a logistics service provider for the petrochemical industry. This person will be responsible to perform the operational management of the Tank Cleaning Business Unit. Advanced English and several years of management experience in the field of tank cleaning or related activities are required.

As a Cleaning Operations Mananager you will be working in the Tank Cleaning Business Unit, reporting to the BU Director and to the BU Sales Manager.

Your main activities:

-Sales activities
-Manage and supervise the tank cleaning process, installations and water treatment plant
-Ensure optimum use of the capacity of the cleaning branches
-Draw up the operational Tank Cleaning budget in cooperation with the General Manager
-Produce the operational reports of Tank Cleaning
-Draw up specific cleaning procedures, in cooperation with the SHEQ manager
-Supervise whether cleaning and safety rules and procedures are adhered to
-As trouble-shooter, is co-responsible for solving problems between the company and its customers with respect to tank cleaning activities.
-Makes proposals to the Tank Cleaning Director with respect to the Tank Cleaning policy and strategy, and initiate process improvements.
-Make proposals to the Tank Cleaning Director to optimise the department and the department policy.
-Determine the price of cleanings on the basis of the substance classification in the list of rates, as determined by the SHEQ manager.
-Coordinate the cooperation with Procurement with respect to the purchase of cleaning-related products and services.
