The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the software developed meets the functional requirements

Job Responsibilities:

- Develops, publishes, and implements test plans, including functional, system, regression and benchmarking testing.
- Writes and maintains test automation.
- Writes and maintains build system automation.
- Gathers and processes data for testing purposes.
- Documents and maintains quality assurance related information.
- Develops quality assurance standards and methodologies.
- Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
- Promotes changes in development environment in order to improve overall software quality and make automations feasible and effective.
- Tracks project development providing proper visibility about current status.

- Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering + one year of experience in coding with a particular emphasis in scripting languages and automation tools.
- Must have a working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and processes.
- Familiar with different Operating Systems (i.e. Windows 2003, Windows XP, Windows Vista) and deployment environments (i.e. Citrix).
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks, providing support to development team if required.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

- English fluent.
- Other languages are an advantage (French, German …)
