Role Summary/Purpose
GE Water & Process Technologies is currently searching for a Sales Manager to join our Engineered Systems Sales Department in Spain, to assume responsibility for driving Sales of our high technology solutions portfolio, including UF, MBR, RO, EDR, EDI and others, in the designated area, markets and customers. Reporting to a Regional Sales Leader, the candidate will work in an international environment, with frequent contact with team members both in the region and overseas.
Essential Responsibilities: -Responsibilities for the successful candidate will include, but not be limited to the following: -Achieve the given sales and revenue mix target consistently through the year; -Provide accurate sales and revenue forecast as demanded by the Organization; -Develop growth strategies and action plans to the extent of his sales responsibilities, in line with the company capabilities and expectations; -Understand customer’s needs, qualify leads, and work closely with the Commercial Operations department to provide competitive solutions for our customers; -Support companies’ new products launch campaigns and gather market information for companies’ new developments; -Promote companies’ solutions, including customer meetings, conferences and delivering papers; -Assist in the collection efforts up to his sales responsibilities extents; -Adhering to all internal procedures related to risk review stages and bid preparation; -Assisting Project Managers and Project Engineers in the preparation of biding/execution hand-over procedures; -Make integrity a main driver for his activities.
This position will report into the GE Water & Process Technologies office in Madrid, Spain but can be located anywhere within Spain (although Madrid or Barcelona is preferred), frequent travel will be required.

Qualifications/Requirements:
-Bachelor's/Master’s degree Mechanical, Chemical or Environmental Engineering; -Proven experience in the water or wastewater equipment consultancy and sales; -Knowledge of membrane process equipment; -Ideally with experience dealing with construction companies, OEMs and industrial end users; -Fluent in Spanish and English. Catalan is a value added that will be considered; -Self-motivated; -Results oriented; -Team player; -Strong communication skills.
