Our Team
Within the European Projects division, you will manage cross divisional vehicle and vehicle related project development and planning within Toyota Motor Europe and European Manufacturing Companies, in order to assure that European vehicles will be competitive in European market whilst internal severe project targets with respect to profitability, mass, quality (durability, reliability) and timing are met.

Your Challenge
1. Project management within R&D ensuring successful product development and production preparation
Organize R&D development activities on vehicle project base and report status to superior and relevant divisions in TME/TMC (Toyota Motor Corporation Japan)
Identify concern in any aspect that jeopardizes project targets and propose/discuss possible corrective actions with superior Constantly promote Vehicle Evaluation, quality and performance improvement
Control cost and mass targets.
Participate/coordinate prototype and production assembly and evaluation trails
Support preparations for project hand over activities
Monitor and gather other divisions project management activities, propose and discuss improvements if necessary after consultation with superior
2. Support planning activities in Europe for future vehicles or technologies within TME
Support scheduling of European planning activities in line with overall development schedule
Translate market and technical proposals to financial consequences
Organize competitor and trend analysis
Organize bench marking activities in TME
- Tear down activities of competitor vehicles and analysis of cost, mass and technologies
-Supplier presentations & discussions
Define and propose targets for cost and mass (commodity, group, system, parts based) based on bench marking information and vehicle concept
3. Manage European Project Job Request budget within R&D
Consolidate R&D budget plans for European projects and organize negotiation with relevant divisions in TME and TMC to get consensus on total budget per JR
Regular reporting on actual expense status throughout project duration and propose/discuss corrective action with superior when necessary.

| Requisitos: |
Education and/or Experience:
-Civil or Industrial Engineering degree in automotive,mechanical or electrical engineering
-Design and project co-ordination/management experience of complex parts/systems
-Experience to lead cross divisional project teams
Technical Skills:
-Organizer, innovator, communicator, team leader, project manager, good verbal and written reporter
-Problem finding, analyzing and solving skills
Understanding of total vehicle technology and performance
-Motivation, coaching/supporting skills
MS office PC skills
Languages:
English fluent; French/Dutch/German basic; Japanese appreciated.
