Your Challenge
As a advance diesel engine system concept research senior engineer, you will be responsible for:
(1) proposing new technological approach to improve power train performance (CO2, emission, cost, power performance) on the basis of his/her own idea or external proposals. On the basis of her/his very high engine technical knowledge, he/she need to integrate new technologies on existing diesel engine and clarify performance on engine bench or vehicle under European driving condition. Capability to show advantage of new technology by building demo car for evaluation in Chassis Dynamometer. This requires high personal skill and good team work to find required resources for the project.
(2) Investigate and analyze future Powertrain technology trend in Europe and propose Powertrain lineup which meet European customer requirements. This will require strong knowledge of Powertrain system and collection of technical data through participation in different events such as Motor shows, Conferences or interaction with related suppliers, engineering companies, research institutes and academic organizations.

Your Assets
-University qualification: Min. master degree in Mechanical Engineering or related areas
-Approx. 7 years working and research experience in Diesel engine research in car companies, supplier or engineering companies.
-Familiar with usage of simulation tools (Ex.: Matlab Simulink, Ascet, GT-Suite, Amesim, StarCd,…) and capability/potential for usage of existing models
-Good knowledge of Automotive business and Powertrain related matters (Regulations,but also technical like advance calibration, control, ECU on diesel engines, and also Thermodynamics, Combustion, Exhaust, energy management….)
-Fluency in English and knowledge of other major European language is a plus
General computer skill (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,….)
-Strong networking skills
-Team player but able to work independantly
