The Mortgage Senior Risk Analyst will provide regular Risk analysis and Reporting for the Mortgage Portfolio as well as respond to ad hoc requests.

Essential Responsibilities

• Maintain and provide support to build and analyze monthly monitoring reports - including USGAAP Close, Portfolio Quality Report etc
• Prepare monthly performance and variance analysis
• Monitor portfolio performance and communicate pro-active recommendations to minimize losses
• Perform ad-hoc analyses and reports required by SMT and HQ managers
• Perform Risk analysis to support Collections
• Work closely with Senior Risk Leaders in order to improve business risk analyses, Reserving, Planning and Controllership:
• Responsible to build monthly reserves and follow up losses versus plan
• Coordinate reserves, losses and receivables reconciliation with both US GAAP and Spanish GAAP Finance teams
• Responsibility for Governance and documentation around USGAAP Reserves

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics or related field
• Experience in Consumer Risk Management - Mortgage product an advantage
• Strong analytical skills
• Advanced skills working with data bases and using SAS
• Strong Excel/MS Access skills
• Good level of English & Spanish
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team environment
• Role Based in Madrid
