Your tasks will entail

Commissioning, maintaining and repairing our equipment, including electrical and hydraulic drive systems. The services take place in production facilities ranging from steel plants to paper, packaging and diaper manufacturers. Therefore work is undertaken on heavy manufacturing machinery, under surrounding conditions this type of environment implies
Acting as a technical consultant to our customers as well as training them regarding applications
Predominantly service assignments at customers’ production facilities in the EU and world-wide

You would require

a qualification as an Electrical or Electronics Engineer with a good knowledge of automatic control engineering / automation;
basic knowledge of mechanical engineering, pneumatics and hydraulics;
an EU passport as well as permanent residence and, if applicable, an unrestricted work permit;
a good knowledge of English (verbal and written). Further foreign languages, especially French, would be an advantage;
good technical knowledge and creativity in problem-solving;
precision in and an analytical approach to your work, flexibility and reliability;
the ability to work independently under challenging conditions;
a willingness to travel extensively world-wide;
to enjoy contact and communication with people of different cultures and in varied work environments;
to be free of suffering from vertigo due to the kind of work involved.


Some experience in working as an external Service Engineer in an industrial, heavy machinery environment would be useful, although applications are also encouraged from recently qualified Engineers who are interested in moving into this area of work and who have perhaps served an apprenticeship in a production facility.
