Reporting directly to the Sr Manager European Transportation your main functions will be:
* Maintain and develop SLA's with Logistics providers and ensure adequate measurement and weekly/ monthly reporting on performance to SLA
* Logistics Provider relationship management including regular detailed business operations reviews with vendors.
* Key requirement will also be to drive resolution of open issues within Transportation.
* Provide contract negotiation support where required.
* Be responsible for the implementation of the overall direction, coordination and performance of the Transportation Logistics Department.
* Plan and optimise outbound shipment profile to deliver improved carrier weights and cost thresholds performance.
* Help drive strategic and tactical level planning information between the fulfilment and logistics provider organisations.
* Support the Group's overall delivery against Europe's next generation Transportation programs to meet increasing service levels; cost focus and the strategic development of a pan-European carrier network

- At least 1 year large scale Transportation Logistics or Supply Chain operations management within an international fast paced metrics driven environment.
- At least 4 years business logistics/supply chain processes and systems optimisation.
- Professional relationship management approach with carriers.
- Technical expertise: in-depth knowledge of operating and analysis tools; solution driven approach to system and process; advanced computer literacy (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word); Data-warehouse analysis.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish .
- Experience of Six Sigma and Lean analytical techniques beneficial.
