As a Works Supervisor in the Control Section, you will actively contribute to the consolidation of CERN's Electrical Network Supervisor System (ENS) and participate in the installation and commissioning of the SCADA system.
This will involve:
* Control of equipment installation including full chain validation tests, and execution and management of cabling activities. This will require frequent interactions with contractors and CERN users.
* Coordination of work schedules for contractors' staff.
* Site management of installation work, work follow-up and acceptance tests.
* Production of relevant, complete technical documentation and reports.
* Integration of as-built data in information systems.
* Diagnosis and troubleshooting of control equipment and communication bus faults. Qualification required

| Requisitos: |
Higher technical diploma or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, with specialization in Automation and Industrial Data Processing. Experience and competencies
The experience required for this post is:
* At least 3 to 5 years' experience in the field of installation, inspection, testing and troubleshooting of cabling for controls.
* A minimum of 3 years' experience with implementation, operation or maintenance of large SCADA system field buses and communication protocols.
The technical competencies required for this post are:
* Practical knowledge of industrial control systems, multifunction electricity meters, field buses on copper or optical media, cable test instruments.
* Demonstrated knowledge of SCADA systems and equipment, including but not limited to:
* programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Remote Terminal Units (RTU), digital or analog data acquisition units, signal converters;
* practical knowledge of measurement techniques.
* Broad knowledge of high and low voltage electrical systems, such as switchboards, transformers, UPS systems.
