Funciones

Purpose of position:

The 3PL coordinator & SC Network Design expert is responsible for all tactical activities of a 3PL location and taking responsibility for SC Network Design as a leader or team member in projects. S/He oversees and executes the day to day business of a 3PL location such as planning, creating purchase orders and delivery notes etc. He or she will be responsible for ensuring required Customer Service Level (on-time-deliveries, order cycle time, etc.) and to meet internal KPI’s such as supply chain execution cost, inventory targets, turns etc.. He or she acts as the interface to the internal and external suppliers as well as the 3PL provider and ensures compliance for customs, export and safety. In his or her role as a SC network design expert his or her task is the expansion & optimization of the logistics network considering supplier and manufacturing framework to lower costs, reduce lead-times and to maximize agility. He or she is part of the logistic team in EMEA and works closely with regional planning and other logistic counterparts (e.g. global; GSM) to develop and optimize our SC network design in EMEA. His main task is to understand the required SC to fulfill the customer demand by mapping the material and information flow, calculating total fulfillment cost and lead time while leveraging the regional planning; procurement & logistic teams. Utilizing these findings he will propose and implement the optimized SC network and will report respective savings.


Responsiblities:

•	Oversee and execute day to day operation tasks at the 3PL location like planning, creating purchase orders and delivery notes
•	Ensure required Customer Service Level (On-time-Deliveries, supplier performance and Supply Chain Execution Cost)
•	Report and meet KPI’s as cost, inventory targets, turns etc.
•	Routinely reports to senior management status and performance of 3PL location
•	Acts as the interface to the 3PL provider and internal and external suppliers.
•	Ensures compliance for customs, export, local requirements and safety.
•	Defines and executes cost reduction and improvement projects
•	Optimizing SC processes (end to end)
•	Lead lean logitics projects in EMEA
•	Analyze the fulfillment stream (end to end): process map, calculating total fulfillment cost and lead time
•	Implement the optimized SC network and report respective savings

Requisitos

Qualifications:

•	Professional Training/Branch Supply Chain especially logistics education or background
•	Leadership experience
•	Project Management
•	Minimum 3-5 years work experience in a SCM environment ideally logistics work experience in a logistics; planning, service or SCM environment
•	Special abilities - understand the requirements of an integrated SC and take appropriate actions SAP WM, MM and SD
•	ERP/SAP knowledge & experience
•	Familiar with Lean SC tools
•	Good verbal / written / presentational communication skills.
•	Strong problem solving skills
•	Drive and commitment
•	Ability to act and lead within a multi-national team
•	Willing to travel up to 40% Cross Cultural awareness.
•	Language skills - fluent English - Spanish or Italian are beneficial
