Renewable energy company located in Madrid is looking for an experienced Accountant (with English and Navision) to join a dynamic team in a multi-national, growth-oriented organization, to deliver the local Finance support required for the growing team

The chosen candidate will be responsible of the following responsabilities and duties:

 * Maintain adequate books & records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and Spain and Portugal company law, including journal posting, month-end close in line with the Group's reporting timeline, accruals and prepayments, balance sheet substantiation
 * Support Asset Management on the preparation of the budget and periodic financial forecasts, working with Asset Management to explain and communicate variances against budget.
 * Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
 * Research technical accounting issues for compliance
 * Support month-end and year-end close process
 * Support finance manager on bank reporting in line with Facility Agreement
 * Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
 * Monitor and control accounts receivables and payables
 * Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
 * Other administratives tasks


Perfil del candidato

The succesful candidate should fit with:

 * Advanced degree in Accounting
 * 2 + years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
 * Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), including ability to quickly familiarize with accounting software. Previous exposure to NAVISION ERP is a must
 * Advanced level of English and Portuguese will also be considered
 *  Strong communication skills
 * Enthusiastic and able to take ownership of problems and provide solutions
