Funciones

We are looking for an accountant to join our team in Madrid. They will be responsible for updating and maintaining our accounting software, performing established financial controls regularly and various other accountancy tasks for our fast-growing start-up. The candidate must be organised, motivated, responsible and eager to work in a very international and energetic team.

Requisitos

Degree-level or close to completing a degree in Business Management, or a related discipline (Accounting and Finance, Economics, Business, etc).
B2 Level of english. Must be able to read, write and communicate in english at a business level.
Interest in and basic understanding of Business Accounting.
Must demonstrate high attention to detail, adequate mathematical skills (to be assessed through the online exercise), discipline and team work skills.
Good excel skills and comfortable using basic excel formulas.
Preferably some work experience, particularly in business.
Preferably some understanding of business taxation (payroll deductions, VAT, etc).
Make accounting entries into our software (Quickbooks), create invoices and manage payments from customer and to suppliers.
Perform established financial controls regularly and maintain all accounting records, including our financial reports and projections for existing and potential investors.
Support the CEO in future investment rounds
Work with our outsourced tax accountant, providing them with the relevant documents.
Deliver high quality work, meet deadlines, flag issues to superiors and take ownership of their work.
Complete set weekly / monthly tasks, alongside daily work requirements.
