Our story: The Xara Collection comprises of a collection of brands which operatewithin the Hospitality and Catering industry; The Xara Palace Relais & Châteaux with its restaurants. Trattoria AD 1530 and the De Mondion, which is a One Michelin star restaurant. Also, the restaurants OKA’s at theVilla and Rosami at the Villa belong to the Xara Collection. Lastly, thereare the Xara Lodge, Xara Catering, and Xara Gardens. We make a point ofoffering our customers an excellent service and the best possibleexperience here in Malta. To realise this excellent service we need tohave the right employees and support them while they are employed atthe Xara Collection. As an Accounting Finance intern you will play animportant role in analysing actual financial data, preparing journal entriesand financial reports as well as assisting in other accounting activitiesWhat you will be learning: - You will be shadowing members of the Accounting team as theyperform their duties. - You will be assisting with posting of invoices. - You will be assisting in petty cash postings and reconciliations, andother reconciliations as may be required. - You will be performing data entry and filing. - You will be assisting Account Payable team with backlog. - You will be assisting with month- end close. - You will also be performing tasks necessary to prepare for audits. Besides getting the experience of working abroad, you will get toknow different cultures.

About you: - You can communicate in English, verbal as well as written. - You are comfortable as a team player as well as an independentworker. - You are organized and have a keen eye for details. - You are able to appropriately handle confidential data. - You possess critical thinking capabilities and great organisationalskills.
