Funciones

Directly reporting to Bulk Finance & Administrative Director, the candidate will be responsible for the management of European area accounting services based in Barcelona region. He/she will be responsible for all activities of the accounting process. He/she must ensure that all of them are carried out in accordance with the group's accounting standards and that the necessary internal controls are in place and are working properly.


Description

* Supervise and organise the workload of an accounting team (8-10 FTE).
 * Propose and put in place action plans to optimise and improve accounting process.
 * General review of the monthly and annual financial statements for the different entities you are in charge.
 * Analyse the financial results and be responsible for the use of accounting and tax rules, be compliant with different deadlines on a specific European perimeter
 * Coordinate the external audits done on financial statements.
 * Produce different financial reports as part of Monthly Reporting package
 * Work closely with the rest of the European accounting team and other financial departments based in France.
 * Contribution to consolidation preparation

Requisitos

 * Hold University degree in accounting coupled with 10 years of experience in accounting auditing and financial reporting.
 * Hold Chartered Professional Accountants degree in Spain.Bilingual Spanish & English (French is a plus)
 * Demonstrate leadership. Rigorous will be a strong asset.
 * Have good skills in f analysis and ability to synthesise.
 * Demonstrate relationship skills to work as a leader in a team.
 * Sense of Service level Agreement towards International subsidiaries.
 * Promote teamwork model and continuous improvement.
 * Very good knowledge of Office Suite.
 * Having a significant experience with SAP would be an asset.
