Funciones

Be in charge of all administrative tasks dealing with day-to-day queries including personnel department and general services activities;
Be responsible for the accounting conciliation, liaising with outsourced companies hired by QG UK.  
Manage financial activities, including accounts payable, cashflow and overall conciliations with the company´s business process management software (systems);
Consolidate, analyse and control financial data (budgets, income statement, projections etc.);
Ensure data entries are posted in the ledgers and payment processes are completed accurately and timely;
Coordinate with third party providers for tax compliance, including VAT;
Maintain an understanding of the operations of company and their impact to overall financial statements of the holding
Support management in preparing corporate and business plans to key business decisions;
Identify areas for improvements and implement them in the day to day processes;
Any additional duties and responsibilities that may reasonably be expected to be undertaken in accordance with the role.

Requisitos

Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance;
Previous experience in a similar analytical role, ideally within financial business and/or accounting;
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Fluency in the Spanish and/or Portuguese languages is desired (although not mandatory) and will be considered a plus;
Knowledge of UK Accounting standards;
Usual computer skills and Microsoft Office knowledge with ability to prepare Excel spreadsheets; 
Strong decision-making ability, problem solving oriented, and analytical skills;
Outstanding interpersonal skills and adept at interacting with individuals at all levels in the organisation, including systems, accounting and administrative teams in the Parent Company in Spain and in all related projects; 
Ability to think and work independently or as a team member taking the initiative and ‘ownership’ of tasks, having strong organisational and time management mindset;
Efficient multi-tasking capacity and work well under pressure meeting deadlines;
Confident, articulate, able to challenge peers and seniors; 
Strong desire to exceed expectations;
Availability/Willingness to travel across Europe, mainly Spain;
Must be eligible to work in the UK

Se ofrece

We offer competitive salary for this role;
Work hours are 40 per week, including lunch break of 30 minutes (employee will be given the opportunity to stablish its own lunch break period ranging from 20 minutes to 1 hour);  
22 working days paid holiday in addition to all bank and other public holidays as observed by the Company;
Pension scheme as defined by the Company;
When sent to work abroad, the employee will be entitled to additional days of holidays as agreed with the Company in a ratio of 5:1 (for every five days working abroad, one day of additional holiday will be offered to the employee as compensation);
