Funciones

Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (generally 1 week of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearance/certification) or their candidacy may end.

Requisitos

Qualifications and Evaluations:

Applicants must address each required qualification listed below with specific information supporting each item.  Failure to do so may result in a determination that the applicant is not qualified.

Education:  Secondary school required.

Requirements:

Experience:  Minimum of two years administrative work experience in a bilingual environment. 

Job Knowledge:  Must have a thorough knowledge of Post’s Organization as well as sections and agencies throughout the mission, the region and the functional bureaus.  Must also understand the various ICASS services and be able to communicate with customers on the kind of service provided clearly and completely.  Incumbent must understand VAT regulations concerning Tax refunds for Diplomatic Missions.  The incumbent will face a moderate high level of complexity while working with VAT reporting and refunds.  Very good knowledge of clerical and administrative United States Government (USG) procedures.

Evaluations:

Language:  Level 3 (good working knowledge) of English and Spanish speaking/reading/writing. This will be tested.

Skills and abilities: Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.  This will be tested.  Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Power Point.
