Funciones

Duties: Incumbent oversees a wide variety of management functions, including procurement, contracting, finance/budget, property management, logistics, and oversees Post’s housing and vehicle fleet management portfolio. Responsible for providing a high quality customer service to officers/staff and maintains good relations with outside contacts and contractors related to area of responsibility. Works in tandem with the Facilities Manager and System Administrator to ensure overall efficiency, morale, and professional development of Management section staff. Reports directly to Post’s U.S. Direct Hire (USDH) Management/Political Officer. Employee is a Contracting Officer with warrant of $25,000

Requisitos

Qualifications and Evaluations: 

 Applicants must address each required qualification listed below with specific information supporting each item.  Failure to do so may result in a determination that the applicant is not qualified. 

Requirements: 
 
Education:  Possession of College degree in a related field such as Financial Management or Business Management is required.  
 
Experience: At least three years of experience in administrative, procurement or financial duties is required.    
 
Job Knowledge: Deep knowledge of U.S. government acquisitions and finance regulations (FAMs, allowances, contracting, cashiering, and property leasing regulations).    

 Evaluations: 
 
Language: Level 3 (good working knowledge) of English speaking/reading/writing.  Level 4 (fluent) of Spanish speaking/reading/writing. This will be tested.   
 
Skills and abilities: Must be customer service oriented, possess excellent management ability, organizational skills, judgement and capacity to direct and supervise the work of other personnel in the section. Must be tactful yet effective. Must be able to resolve problems independently.
