Large International Insurance Company specialized in corporate business is looking for a Senior role to develop new and alternative distribution channels (banking-insurance, retail, etc...)

Primary purpose:

Generates revenue/profit margin selling company insurance products through brokers and alternative channels such as sponsors, financial institutions, industry associations, etc. with special focus on Middle Market insurance solutions.

Build solid agreements with brokers and partners to ensure the company´s product distribution.

Brings a deep knowledge of and solid relationships from the Insurance Broker Community in Spain to generate new Business.

Incumbents are responsible for guiding Line of Businesses on the product definition and market positioning. Active participation in the design process to ensure product distribution. Incumbents are sales leaders (individual contributors) within the department/division who are expected to work on large, complex, and key accounts/agreements. Often provides mentoring/guidance to junior level team members.

Job Summary:

Sell the company insurance, services, or products and is responsible for activities associated with making sales including identifying partners, viable customers, prospecting, conducting research/analysis related to sales, creating/tailoring solutions/agreements to meet customer and partner demand, developing proposals, presenting, closing deals and providing assistance during the initial set up of new accounts.

Identify partners for product distribution agreements. Design end to end distribution process in collaboration with the partner, broker and other departments. Maintain and enlarge existing distribution agreements.

Participate closely with the Line of Business in product tuning in order to meet partners demands.

Works in conjunction with other departments i.e. Underwriting, Claims, Marketing, Operation, IT, Actuarial, & Senior Management to ensure Co. & customer goals are being met (or exceeded) by ensuring efforts/activities are compliant & consistent with the company standards, procedures, & policies. Assists on sales projects & initiatives & works in conjunction w/ sales


Perfil del candidato

Job Requirements:

 

 * Min 7-8 years of experience in distribution of insurance products through brokers and alternative channels
 * Large experience in targeting and distribution initiatives with brokers
 * Multinational programs expertise for large clients
 * Experience building and managing insurance distribution agreements
 * Capacity to perform Cross-sell among different Lines of Business
 * Process-oriented approach
 * Business administration or Law degree will be valuable
 * Fluent in English is a MUST!
 * Team player
 * Capacity to generate influence among clients, peers
 * Results driven
 * Dealing with ambiguity
