Funciones

The Center for the Governance of Change (CGC) is an applied-research, educational and impact-oriented institution that seeks to help governments and enterprises to navigate innovation and deal with the challenges that they often bring. The ultimate goal of the CGC is to help build a more prosperous and sustainable society for all. The CGC is based at IE University (IEU), one of the leading private universities in Europe.

We are looking for a competent Assistant that will support the running of the day-to-day operations of the Center as well as the correct implementation of its programs. Reporting to the Executive Director and Head of Operations, his/her main role will be to support the development of research and training activities by undertaking a variety of program operational duties.
Candidates must be problem solvers, organized and detail-oriented, able to work on tight deadlines and comfortable working with diverse and international teams. 

Key Action Areas:

•	Liaise with the CGC leadership to coordinate day-to-day activities and ensure the programs’ smooth operations.
•	Thoroughly monitor the running of the CGC and coordinate with other IE departments that provide services (legal, communications, marketing, etc.).
•	Complete all administrative tasks connected with the research and training programs: assist in the drafting and updating of project files, plans, budgets, etc.
•	Schedule calls, meetings, and follow up all items in the agenda.
•	Coordinate procurement processes and material and resources allocation. Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors. 
•	Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner.

Requisitos

•	Bachelor’s Degree. 
•	English and Spanish fluency.
•	At least 2 years of relevant experience.
•	Excellent organizational abilities.
•	Outstanding communication and social skills.
