Funciones

The Associate Director at IE Talent & Careers provides services and support to students and alumni globally. This includes advising them on their career development and job search strategies, as well as managing the relationship with our recruiters. The Associate Director also assumes responsibility for multiple department activities, which may include, among others, some of the following. 

Key Action Areas:
•	Meet regularly with assigned students to provide career advice and guidance.
•	Deliver sessions on career education to the assigned class.
•	Hold open office hours to provide sector-specific career advice.
•	Manage on-campus recruiting programs.
•	Understand and promote career resources and career education events. 
•	Organize industry-specific career conferences and company presentations.
•	Manage and report employment information and statistics.
•	Visit the classroom regularly to update students on careers-related issues.
•	Nurture existing relationships with employers, may be involved in developing new ones.

Requisitos

Requirements:
•	Master’s Degree from a top University. HR experience is a plus.
•	Bilingual/native level of English is required. Some level of Spanish is a plus.    
•	Candidates must possess strong coaching skills, ideally with specific training.
•	Excellent communication skills 
•	Excellent empathy and creativity to suggest different ideas to students
•	Experience as a coach, career advisor, headhunter or recruiter will be highly valued
•	Positive customer-oriented attitude. 
•	Multi-tasking and the ability to work with a sense of urgency under tight deadlines. 
•	Ability to hit the ground running.
•	Additional languages would be a plus.
•	Occasional business trips in Spain and/or overseas may be required.
