We are looking for a Backend Developer ready to join a top team of Developers! You will have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies and in an international team. Offices in the centre of Barcelona.


Description

As a Software Backend Developer, you'll be part of a crack team of coders developing for a network management service that handles millions of transactions per second. Drawing on your love of precision, your can-do attitude, and your drive to do great work, you'll help the team to build software our customers can rely on.

Inside the Tech team, some of the task we do and you will have the opportunity to play with:

 * Architect and design key components as we transition to microservices written in Scala and Go
 * Build reliable, highly available, and scalable software on top of streaming platforms like Kafka
 * Analyze and learn from data deep in our big data set
 * Design and implement protocols for communication in a highly scalable, distributed system
 * Develop reliable and performant C++ code for our collector deployed at thousands of customer sites


Profile

* Strong experience with Backend technologies (Go, Scala, Python…)
 * Strong knowledge of Big Data (Apache, Hadoop, etc.)
 * Experience with NoSQL Databases
 * Ability to work with an inter-functional team to help with testing and deployment
 * Willingness to learn and apply new technologies
 * Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
 * Git Workflow
 * Experience integrating software components and third-party libraries
 * Create technical documentation for reference and reporting
 * Analytical and methodical working style person
 * Fluency in English
