Job Description

What you’ll do

We are looking for a Barback to join the pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. Under the guidance of the Head Bartender, you’ll be preparing drinks exactly as our guests want or serving them delicious food, you’ll be devoted to creating relaxing, memorable experiences.

Ensure Bartenders have adequate glassware, garnishes, beverages, and supplies at all time.
Assist Bartenders with guest service at any busy period.
Consistently offer professional, engaging and friendly service
Maintenance of liquors, garnishes, glassware in work area.
Create a fun and relaxed atmosphere where guests come to wind down and enjoy themselves.
Ability to deal and work with associates gracefully, even while under pressure.
Maintain clean work area and cleans glasses and miscellaneous items according to health department specifications.
Be ready to jump into other ad-hoc duties when your colleagues need your help, that might include serving other outlets like rooms service, bar or terrace.
Keep all working areas in a clean and safe condition.
Maintain cleanliness and stocking of Beverage store room.

Requisitos

Experience in hospitality within food & beverage.
Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in Spanish and English.
