You will be managing the European Billing Department of an international company, including front and back office support for all Billing related activities, processes and controls.

Our client is a well-known company providing industrial gases for the manufacturing sector. From food packaging to eco-buses, their gases improve everything from the quality of our food to the air we breathe. The company has offices all over the world, and in Cornellà de Llobregat they have a shared service center with over 300 employees from all four corners of the globe spread across three departments: Customer Support, Supplier Service, and Logistics.

Main Responsibilities:
- Supporting all activities associated with billing related processes, invoices corrections, credit approvals and issue of related credit notes
- Following up and escalating processes issues with the local Customer Service Organisations
- Effective management of specialists in the billing processes 
- Management of the consignment order process specialist and related tasks
- Management of unbilled items controls, billing error report and blocked financial postings lists
- Ensure timely and accurate Agent Commissions calculation and payment for the European Agent Network 
- Management and maintenance of customer manual billing and electronic portal 
- Management of the Service Order billing process and related tasks
- Management of office supplies procurement and stocking via specialist in team
- Management of outsourced European Invoice printing and mailing
- Identification and implementation of process improvement initiatives, collaborating closely with European ITC process champion and the Billing Power Users
- Identification and realization of opportunities to improve Billing dept productivity
- Continued development of relationships working closely with European CSO teams, Global Process Manager and IT
- Coaching and mentoring the Billing Analysts
- Integration and on boarding training for new joiners
- Ensuring VAT compliance working closely with companies' accountants and tax department
- Ensuring Billing compliance with the companies' policies and SOX requirements
- Support external and internal audit efforts pro-actively

Requisitos

Key languages:
- Native (or close-to-native) level of Spanish/French/German/Dutch
- Advanced level of English

Core Skills/experience:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years work experience within teams specialised in administration 
- Proven ability to lead, train and develop team members
- Proven ability to communicate at all levels with high influencing skills
- Ability to work under pressure, meet agreed service levels and deal with multiple demands
- Good understanding of entire ITC process and practices.
- Advanced IT skills (in depth SAP SD knowledge and advanced MS Excel)
- Basic understanding of programming/scripting 
- Knowledge of CI tools (VSP process mapping, cost/benefit calculation)
