Funciones

The Business Analyst supports PageGroup's Digital Hub in the delivery of global IT solutions, including Content Management Systems and websites; Data Analytics, Attribution model and reporting; CRM solutions, and integration across various applications/platforms.

The role requires the Business Analyst - Digital Hub to have sound experience in Agile projects and familiarity with a (proxy) Product Owner role.


Description

Key Responsibilities:

 

 * Act autonomously as the Business Analyst in key business projects, providing ability, in-depth knowledge and experience to the project.
 * Together with Product Owners, collaborate with business stakeholders at all levels to identify, qualify, prioritise and agree on business requirements, ensuring that business stakeholders express requirements and do not ask upfront for a solution.
 * Document and maximise the quality of the requirements gathered, including BRD (Business Requirements Document), User Stories and mock-ups, and ensure comprehensive acceptance criteria are clearly documented.
 * Support the solution architects / development teams to identify and articulate options for potential solutions that meet the business requirements and make sure they are logical, possible and cost effective.
 * Perform handover activities to other project team members, e.g., developers and testers, to ensure that the requirements and proposed design are clearly understood and agreed. 
 * Work with product owners and team to ensure requirements are clearly captured in JIRA with clear acceptance criteria.
 * Run regular backlog refinement meetings with team and product owner to ensure for all agile projects we have continuous review of backlog to ensure we have matured prioritised backlog in place.
 * Apply broad knowledge and best practices to consider and assess already available options in relation to the business requirements. 
 * Provide support to the training department to ensure a smooth transition E.g., production of process and functional documentation. Conduct training where needed.


Profile

Skills / Experience:

Experience:

 * Experience as a Business Analyst or assuming Business Analysis responsibility as part of his/her role
 * Experience working on Agile projects and familiarity with the role of product owner
 * Experience working with JIRA and Confluence
 * Experience working on data and insight projects (e.g.: Online analytical tools, attribution models, data processing, etc.) and CRM projects, ideally Sales Force Marketing Cloud.
 * Experience working with internal teams, external vendors and offshore teams on large scale, global projects
 * Experience in the Consultancy sector in a customer facing role is a plus

 * The ability to understand the big picture and strategic goals, displaying organisational sensitivity
 * Resilience to workload and pressure, being able to prioritise a high and varied workload, finding a balance between BAU delivery and support activities while showing a sense of urgency
 * Elevated level of autonomy and sense of ownership
 * Excellent written and oral communication skills, able to clearly articulate ideas, solutions and recommendations to all levels of staff via presentations, walkthroughs and one-to-ones
 * Able to decompose/simplify complex ideas and present these back to the business in a way that they can understand and at a suitable level of detail
 * Business-focused with strong interpersonal and networking skills, being able to set up and keep solid, trusting relationships with project stakeholders (including vendors) at all levels
 * Quality driven and taking ownership of problems and issues and look to proactively resolve when these arise
 * Able to work collaboratively with project stakeholders and team members at all levels and show sound facilitation, neg
