What You will do

Business Development & Retail Manager (Portuguese Speaking)
 
 We are seeking a Business Development Manager with Retail experience to join a in our team based in Arganda Del Rey, Spain.

 You will be working closely with other BD Managers and reporting to a Business Development Director. You will be focusing on the Spanish and Portugal market to expand the number of Tetra Pak new customers, either as new direct customers with their own industrial facilities, or as new brand owners manufacturing through co-packers.

 You will map the addressable categories in the local market, and prioritize the ones to focus BD activity. Also map potential suspects, and prioritize considering various criteria with special attention to retail. Your task will be to execute initial contact with prospect to capture interest in a meeting.

 We believe that you have: 

 •University degree (Ba, Ma) qualification in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or Engineering or similar. 
 •Minimum 2 years successful track record in Business Development  / Sales with demonstrated activity in Retail and achievements meeting targets 
 •Experience working in manufacturing industry (food, packaging), FMCG 
 •1-2 years experience / knowledge in Food or Dairy industry
 •Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, English is a must
 •Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
 •Ability to perform well under pressure and solve problems quickly and efficiently
 •Good business acumen and be solution and customer focused
 •Positive attitude and determined to succeed
 •Ability to present and develop relationships with prospects and demonstrate negotiation skills
 •Flexible and professional attitude and ability to influence people at various levels internally and externally
 •Demonstrated ability to absorb and convey commercial and technical information
