My client, a leading Hospitality and Catering business based in San Sebastian de los Reyes near to Madrid, are seeking an experienced Buyer, English and Spanish speaker Descripción de la oferta The Buyer, English and Spanish speaker will have to: 1.Manage Buying Leads * Receive and understand buying project needs from the Sales team.Assist toprepare and send quotation requests.Follow up to collect and organize allrelevant data related to: product specifications, samples, pricing, purchasingconditions, etc. * Reply to the Sales team requestson time-workagainst tight deadlines * Support the bidding process for tenders as required by the area manager 2.Product Sourcing * Assist the area manager to make inquiries to new suppliers for some products asrequested by the area manager * Build supplier relationships,create andupdatesupplier and product databaseCarry out and ensure the Procurement policies and best practices * Request samples upon specific inquiry from other team members * Will have many opportunities toparticipate inindustrytrade shows 3.Process PurchaseOrders * Provide necessary product information and pricing to issue purchasing orders;respond toprice requestson the ERP system maintaining an adequate level of efficiency * Follow up the internal authorization processof purchase orders * Prepare and send authorized purchasing orders to suppliers and ensure they areduly accepted 4.Supplier relations, order executionand product qualitymanagement * Communicate with the assigned suppliers on a frequent basis to coordinate: production status, qualityissues (as required by manager), samples, delivery times etc. and manage any compliance issues as indicated by the area manager * Participate in periodical supplier meetings together with the Procurement manager * In due time the incumbent will be able to assist/carry out with a level of independency some simpler negotiations related to pricing, delivery terms, etc. Perfil del candidato Mandatory: * Bachelor´s degree inrelated fieldand at least 1 year prior experience in Procurement/Purchasing department orsimilar function or internship in similar function. * Excellent English, Mandarin and Spanish language skills-very important fluent oral communication face-to-face or by phone, apart from written. * Attention to detailand ability to handle multiple projects at any momentis a must * Microsoft Office package:good/advanced MSWord and Excel skills * Strong numeric and analytical skills * A flexible, motivated, proactive and hard-working team player * A settled personality,quick learner and independent thinker-keen to deliver positive contributions for the whole organisation Desirable but not essential: * Strong working knowledge of the procurement and procure-to-pay process, RFQs, International Trade, Incoterms, customs procedures * Previous experience with purchasing/manufacturing/sellingany of the following categories is very appreciated: Oferta de empleo * Temporary contract: 3 meses, but you will have the opportunity to obtain a permanent contract at the end * Salary: 20.000-21.000 € gross annual * Location: San Sebastian de los Reyes
