Funciones

Our client is a well-known company that sells print and digital document products and services in more than 160 countries, and they are looking for a new Team member for their Collections team here in sunny Barcelona. 

The role covers all aspects of collection activities from cash collection, account management, customer relations and controlling. If you are looking for a new professional challenge and want to be part of an international team apply now. 

Main responsibilities:
- Responsible for the analysis, reconciliation, and collection of a large portfolio of Customer Accounts with the objective of reducing and minimizing past due balances.
- Make outbound contacts with customers to ensure timely payment of invoices
- Implementation of permanent account administration, reconciliation, and account analysis
- Implementation of credit/account management, ascertainment of the payment patterns, and if necessary, implementation of corrective measures.
- Ensure debt and cash targets are met on a quarterly/monthly basis
- Ensure all ledgers are kept clean and reconciled
- Ensure full compliance at all times

Requisitos

- Business Administration or Finance Degree desired 
- Relevant and demonstrable experience in a finance or accounts role
- Customer focused
- Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills
- Ability to work independently 
- Financial & commercial awareness / good numerical skills
- Committed approach to team work
- Resilient under pressure and able to adapt quickly to unforeseen work demands
- Adaptable to a changing environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Sap Experience is a plus
