HomeAway, a leader in the travel industry and a part of one of the strongest companies in the sector globally, is looking for a Commercial Manager for the Italian Team. 
The Commercial Manager primary responsibility is to lead and develop the Italian team focusing on acquiring, implementing and retaining strategic supplier relationships. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, implementation of internal business initiatives, and improving process efficiencies.

Key responsibilities
-Represent the company in successfully executing supply relationship strategies for the region that enables the business to grow partners and improve long term relationships with both existing and new partners.
-Drive the commercial model to achieve targets and results including working cross functionally with marketing, customer service and finance.
-Lead the Italian team to deliver acquisition targets by securing and maintaining attractive rates and inventory.
-Develop the Italian team to improve partners’ metrics and performance to deliver increases in conversion and optimization.
-Continually coach and provide best practices and recommendations to direct reports.
-Optimize and control staffing and capacity planning of in-house and outsourced agents.
-Ensure team adherence to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
-Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to deliver high level of service and escalations where required.
-Capture feedback from partners regarding product improvements and processes to drive partner efficiencies and increased revenues.

Requisitos

-Fluent Italian and English required. Spanish is a plus.
-Bachelor’s Degree.
-5-7 years of sales experience of which 2 years are at a managerial level.
-E-Commerce experience is preferred.
-Strong written and oral interpersonal skills; including fundamental presentation skills and the proven ability to articulate ideas clearly and appropriately influence others.
-Demonstrated ability to lead teams successfully in a dynamic team environment.
-Management of complexity - able to work effectively in a complex, diverse, changing environment. Adapts well to and is energised by change.
-Customer focused - Works to understand both internal and external customer needs and develop plans to meet them.
-Aim for Results - Driving high standards for individual, team, and organisational accomplishment; tenaciously working to meet or exceed important goals; deriving happiness from goal achievement and continuous improvement.
-Strong analytical, organisational, and interpersonal skills; able to design, prepare, and present business cases, financial reports, and strategic plans independently.
-Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
