Reporting to the Head of Analytic, this role will be in charge of developing sophisticated modelling and data analysis for Insurance clients.


Description

Using mathematical modelling techniques and statistical concepts we assess risks to our clients and design optimal solutions, prepare and deliver presentations and reports and explain their implications

 

 

you will work underneath and be mentored by one of the most experienced actuaries in the market

 

 

Initially you will take responsibility for data wrangling: the process of cleaning, restructuring and enriching raw data into a more usable format:

 

 

Discovering, understanding data

 

 

Structuring, optimising raw data layout for subsequent work

 

 

Cleaning, deal with null values, missing data, outliers. Standardize format.

 

 

Enriching, adding data from other sources to improve analysis

 

 

Validating, verify the consistency, quality and the security of the data

 

 

Publishing, producing the input for subsequent analysis

 

 

you will also be trained in reinsurance concepts and using our in house analytical tools

Communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information to non-specialists

 

 

Ability to carry out independent research

IT skills an advantage (Excel, Access, VBA, SQL, R etc)

Requisitos

Graduate in Mathematics, Physics or Engineering 

Advanced English
