To realise this opportunity, Page is investing in its data and analytics capability - bringing together the right people and technology; asking the right business questions and applying intelligence to create valuable insights. To support the delivery of this capability, we are recruiting a Data Functional Lead. Description Purpose of the Role: The Data Functional Lead will work with a team of Data Business Analysts with expertise in the Enterprise Data Platform, Page Insights products and knowledge of the source systems & processes feeding the data used in each of these products. The purpose of the role is to ensure the required functional capability is in place to successfully deliver the Data programme roadmap through all stages of the product development cycle. This will be achieved through adequate resourcing and development of the Data Business Analysts, as well as the continuous improvement of the existing delivery process to maximize delivery efficiency and reduce the time-to-market. Key Responsibilities: * Work closely with Data Programme leads, Product owners and Customer Adoption and Success teams contributing to an efficient workflow from business demand, business case, delivery and management of change. * Distribute work within the Data BA team in collaboration with the Programme Manager and Scrum Master according to the priorities of the Data Programme. * Ensure qualified business changes are analysed, clarified and documented and taken to a 'ready for design' stage before they are handed over to the relevant Data Delivery team. This includes the documentation of business requirements (User Stories) with business users and the definition of acceptance criteria. * Input to solution options and act as a conduit between the business needs and technical delivery. Once User Stories are 'in build', the Data Functional Lead ensures that Data BAs work closely with the Build team (Technical Leads and Development teams) with whom they address ambiguities, making sure the Build team fully understand the requirements to avoid rework. * Ensure the Data BAs support quality assurance activities including functional and non-functional testing and provide guidance on the type/level of test required to safely introduce the change. * Accountable for establishing consistent ways of working across the Data BA team, including but not limited to user stories repositories, specification documents as well as maintaining data dictionaries. Profile Experience: The ideal candidate has experience in the following areas: * as a line manager to a small team * as a Business Analyst or assuming Business Analysis responsibilities as part of their role * defining requirements for Reporting / Business Intelligence / Data Analytics projects, producing data mapping files, describing complex data transformations and visualization specifications * Data/BI solutions * analysing data using basic scripts or excel * Scrum and Agile development methodology * working at global level with cross-functional teams, demonstrating cultural awareness * in a customer facing role in the consultancy sector (this is a plus) It would be good if the candidate has had exposure to the following areas: * design of logical data models to deliver business requirements * work/project management tools such as DevOps, Jira Skills/behaviour: * Integrity * Drive * Self-confidence * Capacity to influence at all levels * Empathetic * Analytical, creative and curious mind * High level of autonomy and sense of ownership * Positive attitude * Fluent in English and another language is a plus Job Offer * Career development * Bonus, Food Voucher, Life Insurance, Private Health Insurance * International environment
