Funciones

Confronted with the reality of Big Data in a company, the data scientist will develop models based on advanced analytics and solutions of intelligent exploitation of the data in the service of businesses activities, particularly for marketing, credit and risk.


Description

The Data Scientist will do:

 * Propose and develop technical solutions to answer business analytical needs
 * Identify useful data in IT system and monitor data quality with automated codes

 * Build machine learning and analytics models for marketing targeting, credit scoring, client segmentation and for reports (regulatory or ad-hoc business oriented)

 * Challenge and enhance existing models

 * Ensure models improvements

 * Collaborate with business lines and ensure comprehension of delivered models and follow up of models performance and business lines usage

 * 

Participate to the Data Science community of the shareholders

Short term developments:

 * Mapping of data in cooperation with the Data Architect
 * Data quality assessment
 * Connection to business lines that need quick insights from the Data Management Office
 * Creation of data view for reports and implement reporting for all the business lines including Risk Management, Finance and Compliance
 * Develop a robot to screen competitors on short and long channels

Mid-term developments:

 * Build predictive models for cross selling
 * Develop dynamic pricing prediction
 * Develop credit risk model for acceptation, fraud or collection


Profile

The Data Scientist will be:

 * Engineering school (computer science, electronics, physics, etc.), Ph.D. in physics, neuroscience, bioengineering, applied mathematics, etc…

 * A first business applied experience in data science applied to large datasets is a real plus

 * Knowledge and understanding of banking and credit environments would be appreciated

 * Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised modeling techniques (random forest, SVM, neural network, bagging, boosting, clustering, k-means, XGBM, Light GBM, etc.)

 * Good skills with at least two of the following languages: MATLAB, Python, C , C++, and R
