Funciones

The role: provide support to the business in order to achieve the yearly objectives (both volumes and prod freshness) minimizing risk of out of stock and products returns. The role have to ensure the correct definition (with Sales) and consolidation of sales forecast by customer and by product, and the analysis of route to market capabilities with identification of potential constraints, supporting the Operating Supply in the identification of the optimal route to market.

Reporting to the Trade Marketing Manager the selected person will be responsible for the following activities:

 

 

 * Collects sales forecasts (by customer) prepared by Sales team

 

 

 * Analyses sales forecasts, comparing with historical data (considering also promotions planning and trade investment) and identifies any anomalous trend in the sales forecasts received, and discusses it with the sales team

 

 

 * Updates the weekly sales forecast and share it with Marketing and Supply Chain in order to ensure product availability

 

 

 * Analyses alternative route to market in order to identify the best options in terms of market coverage, distribution cost, product freshness, service level to customer, risk of out of stock and risk of product returns

 

 

 * Monitors continuously actual sales and the market situation to identify potential gaps between actual sales and sales forecast, and ensure product availability. Identifies promptly anomalous trends and suggests remediation actions together with the Supply Chain team

 

 

 * Evaluates potential commercial opportunities (e.g. opportunities highlighted by the Area Manager such as new product launch), identifies the potential volume increase, and verifies the operational capability to achieve it


Perfil del candidato

* Degree in Economics/Engineering or equivalent

 

 

 * At least 6 years of experience in a similar position

 

 

 * Working experience in a multinational environment and in a matrix organization preferred

 

 

 * Good knowledge of the Business Process

 

 

 * Experience of consumer goods sector preferred

 

 

 * Analytical skills

 

 

 * Organized, structured and dynamic with a commitment to excellence

 

 

 * Flexibility, collaborative, proactive and excellent team player

 

 

 * Results-oriented approach

 

 

 

 * Advance level of MS Office

 

 

 * Excellent knowledge of SAP
