Description

Financial Planning

 * Development and monitoring of the Group's budgets and reforecasts
 * Ongoing support and control of project budgets around the Group's services and key projects
 * Support in business development projects
 * Support on operational processes
 * Support on implementation of adequate internal controls and documentation
 * Review and approval of contracts and investments

Finance & Corporate Finance

 * Oversight of cash flow and liquidity planning
 * Cash, investment and asset management
 * Review and oversee outgoing payment batches / direct debit batches
 * Support in contractual terms negotiation for Group services
 * Develop and manage finance strategies (financing, hedging, loan documentation) as well as banking relationships
 * Group internal financing and recharge arrangements

Accounting & Reporting

 * Review accounts, general ledgers and reporting systems, ensuring compliance to Spanish accounting standards used by the Group
 * Preparation and review of presentations, reporting packs and financial analysis and information to the Board
 * Coordination of audits and tax matters

Audit

 * Discuss and agree scope and object of audit with the auditors
 * Review financial statements and information before release to auditors
 * Coordination, support and oversight of audit process
 * Follow-up of audit outcomes

Other

 * Taxes: Filing & review of CIT applications, review of monthly tax filings, discuss & improve tax setup in light of current setup and regulation, oversight and support of intercompany transfer pricing arrangements
 * Group activities: Arrange for review and legal setup of new subsidiaries other Group companies
 * Support on claims and litigations
 * Involvement with third party discussions and requirements (authorities etc.)


Profile

* University degree or equal in the area of finance and business administration
 * Fluent in Spanish and English; any other European languages a plus
 * At least 5-10 years in a similar finance role
 * Qualified accountant to at least CIMA, ACCA, ACA or CIPFA level.
 * Management and oversight of different functional departments
