Digital Electronics Engineer Required Based in Sunbury, England Job Description - Design, development and test of digital electronic circuits including microcontrollers and FPGAs and embedded firmware (VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog). - Support product design, integration, validation and handover to production with other Engineering team members - Support management and other departments in contact with customers - Manage Q.A. including documentation, reviews, validation, change and configuration management - Use experience, knowledge and understanding of integrated circuit interfacing and digital communication systems processor interfacing
Welcome to the Team The Digital Electronics Engineer will work closely within the small and dynamic Electronics team and with the larger Engineering department. This is a key role, where research and development expertise are an important part of the skillset and where the right candidate will have the opportunity to contribute at every stage for new and enhanced products. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a BSc in a related field and solid technical background, specifically an in-depth knowledge of electronic hardware and firmware. You will be fluent in modern digital electronic circuit design, digital signal processing and digital filters design in a sensor and/or instrumentation environment. Experience with microcontrollers & FPGA (DSP would be beneficial), with VHDL (Verilog or SystemVerilog) design for synthesis and validation & development tools, and with circuit simulation and verification tools, is essential. Knowledge of analogue electronic circuits would be advantageous for collaboration with our Analogue Electronics Engineers.
