Objetivo del Puesto The Factory Sales Director has authority and is responsible for guaranteeing the company's business objectives and market share. Maintain a high level of service to existing customers; managing the customer relationship, with the objective to contribute to the business expansion Funciones del Puesto • Drive the Sales and Operations Planning process • Responsible for all Iberian Sales Growth • Be part of a matrix organisation in combination with the central commercial team • Work closely with Sales Directors from other regions • Establish business strategy and annual sales plan. • Achieve quarterly sales quotas and contribute to the objectives of the sales team. • To work in collaboration with Operations Management in reviewing, scrutinizing, and developing efficient and effective operational process flow • Transmission of business requirements or customer specifications to appropriate DS Smith departments • Carry out risk assessments of the manufacturing processes as required. • Ensure that customer demands, queries and complaints are resolved quickly and efficiently • Follow up customers offers • Promote continuous improvement actions in the sales area. • Development of new products and locate market segments in which they contribute differentiation to our potential customers o Commercial monthly report. Keep accurate reports with respect to sales and prospects as instructed of Ds Smith. a. Turnover and volume by family product, customers, sales team… o Sales results analysis and evaluation compared to Plan. o Sales comparative with last year. o Main KPI report, price per kg, Ton sold, K€… o Top 10 Customers of the month and YTD o TOP customers per family o Lost and win volume analysis o Sales Budget. Establish sales budget for next year’s according group strategy. a. By family products o By customer o By region / Country /sales person. o Develop Establish sales budget for next year’s according group strategy.
Formación académica • University Degree Formación específica • Sales Master Experiencia • Comprehensive knowledge about the industry. • Computer literate with proficiency using sales and Windows programs. • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers. • Listening, verbal communication and presentation skills. • Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills. • Senior team leadership. • Experience in Change Management: with impulse, to take ownership, challenge senior stakeholders to provide changes / processes / improvements. • Recruitment: business sectors, any packaging sector will do (plastics, cardboard, wood), but also logistics companies such Chep, Gefco, etc. Not necessary from the direct competition, but for someone who has been selling in a manufacturing environment and across different industries with different characteristics (value-added specialties and also commodities).
