Funciones

Objetivo del Puesto:
The Controller an Finances Director has authority and responsibility for, to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as, development of internal control policies and procedures. Finance controller responsibilities will also include financial risk management. Will manage the relationship between the finance function and other departments of the organization, with the objective of achieving the planned financial results and optimizing the benefit between the commercial and manufacturing areas. 

Funciones del puesto: 

•	Managing all finance and accounting operations 
•	Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
•	Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements 
•	Prepare monthly analysis to understand deviances to Forecast and Budget 
•	Manage of profitability analysis per product 
•	Support month-end and year-end close process 
•	Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts 
•	Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting 
•	Research technical accounting issues for compliance 
•	Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting 
•	Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings 
•	Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls 
•	Additional controller duties as necessary

Requisitos

Formación académica 	
 Degree in Finances / controlling , ADE (Business administration and Management) 
	
Formación específica 	
•	SAP Finance Module 
•	MBA 
•	English 	

Experiencia:  	
•	controlling and accounting department. 
•	Team Management 
•	Overall combined accounting and finance experience 
•	Advanced degree in Accounting 
•	Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures 
•	Experience with cost accounting and controlling ideally in an industrial environment 
•	Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process 
•	Collaborative, teamwork & building relationships. 
•	Analytical skills 
•	Communicate effectively 
•	Mindful & diplomatic – will have to train employees older than him/her. 
•	The type of candidate is also important, we need someone with drive, who will take ownership, challenge senior stakeholders and can deliver change/process/improvements
