Funciones

We are hiring a ECI Retail Area Manager (East) based In Barcelona :
 
The Area Manager implements and coordinates the commercial policy of the brand and contributes to its economic development. He intervenes on a set of stores gathered on a sector and is in charge of the expansion of this network.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES :
 
Main activities:

1. Evaluate and implement the commercial policy of the brand on its network
    - Carry out the visit of the points of sale to check the respect of the commercial, legal, financial rules, as well as the implementation of the strategy and the professionalism of its teams
    - Set business goals for store management teams
2. Manage the financial and administrative activity on its perimeter in connection with the strategy of the brand
    - Analyze the performance of stores in his region
    - Establish action plans at the sector and store level
    - Perform a reporting of his sector with the sales department
3. Lead and animate teams
    - Raise awareness and train his team on sales techniques and compliance with merchandising rules
    - Integrate new managers
    - Control the scheduling of teams and ensure their respect
    - Supervise, coordinate and organize the activities of the team
    - Evaluate and develop the skills of the team
    - Respect and enforce the internal regulations, the procedures put in place and the rules of hygiene and safety
 
Specific activities:
 
- Make special attention to his relationship with ECI managers in order to meet their needs and expectations.
- Ensure the development and implementation of corporate projects (events, school approach, development of partnerships ...)
- Ensure the good level of supply of stores
- Accompany the director or the store manager in his missions
- Coordinate with other headquarters functions:
   - Collaborate with the services "works" for the opening and / or renovation of the store park
   - Participate in the recruitment of the store management in collaboration with the HR department
   - Participate in the HR strategy and ensure the implementation of HR rules on his perimeter
   - Work with the merchandising department to apply rules and train teams (memos, visual merchandising)
   - Work with all the support teams necessary for the proper functioning of the stores
- Respect and enforce the rules of procedure, the procedures put in place and the health and safety rules
- Ensure the replacement of his subordinates if necessary (Manager absent or missing on a store)
- Take note of the trainings made available on the E-learning platform and their updates
- Participate in European events

FUNCTIONAL RELATIONS INTERNAL / EXTERNAL:
 
Internally, he manages the different functions of the stores in his network. It is in direct relation with all the functions of the head office. Externally, it is in relation with suppliers, customers, communities, shopping centers, elected officials, lessors...

Requisitos

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- A Bachelor's Degree and 3 years retail experience or 4 years retail experience in lieu of a degree
- A minimum of 5 year management experience ( over more than 30 shops)
- Demonstrable experience in retail management, including experience in coaching and mentoring people
- Ability to communicate in English
- Knowledge of Spanish market
- Ability to use retail business systems and Microsoft Office
