Funciones

This role is responsible for developing the electronics and electrical designs of the new products of the company, starting from design specifications until design validation and process/production documentation. You are expected to work with cross-functional teams to design, implement and test leading edge industrial grade hardware solutions, and to perform research and proof of concept applications.

* Analyze requirements, define specifications and perform Electronics/Electrical Design from initial prototypes to final production.
 * Electronics Hardware design, from schematic to PCB.
 * Define and design internal wiring of the products: interconnection of different components and modules.
 * Components selection, provider's location, negotiation and management.
 * Write and maintain design, user manuals and manufacturing documentation.
 * Product certification: EMC, Electrical Safety.
 * Participate in product design reviews.
 * Continuous improvement of current and future products.


Perfil del candidato

* Bachelor's degree in an Industrial Electronics Engineering or Industrial Engineering with the related specialization, two or more years on related work experience.
 * Demonstrated accomplishments in the area of electronics design.
 * Experience with PCB Design Software (Altium Designer), EPLAN, AutoCAD…

Skills/Competencies:

 * Clear ability to translate basic requirements into detailed specifications.
 * Proven experience in electronics hardware design is required.
 * Proven experience in Product Certification (CE Mark) is required.
 * Proven experience in electronic-electrical internal wiring for commercial industrial grade products is desired.
 * Fluency in English and Spanish.
 * Demonstrated knowledge of software engineering principles and practices.
 * Ability to generate and maintain accurate documentations and records.
 * Ability to apply creative solutions to difficult problems.
