Funciones

The IE School of Architecture and Design is searching for a FabLab Supervisor for its new FabLab in the IE Tower Madrid Campus.

Key Action Areas:
-	The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the FabLab.
-	Assisting faculty and students with the use of the laboratory
-	Providing training sessions for faculty and students, ensuring the safe and correct use of all hardware, and ensuring that all hardware is properly maintained.
-	The candidate will also be responsible for coordinating with the FabLab Segovia and the FabLab Director, as well as academic program directors, Associate Deans, and Dean.

Requisitos

Requirements:
-	Fab Academy Certification (highly recommended)
-	Fluency in 2D and 3D design software (AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3d), as well as graphic design programs (Adobe Illustrator)
-	Extensive previous experience with digital fabrication technologies including laser cutting, FDM, LDM and SLA 3d printing; large-format and precision CNC milling; vinyl cutting; vacuum forming; robotic arms
-	Experience with materials and tools related to basic carpentry, ceramics, molding, and casting
-	English Fluency
-	Ability to interact in multicultural and diverse environments.
-	Self-motivation and initiative
