Funciones

As a Field Application Engineer (FAE) we will provide you the opportunity to work on innovative automotive applications in our highly motivated European FAE Team. You will mainly support our customer's during the evaluation and development of their systems and you will pass a trainee program to prepare you for your job being a specialist for our products in our customer's applications.


Description

In your new role you will:

 * Contribute to the development of modern electronic systems and their implementation in the innovative automotive market.
 * Be the first level technical contact for our key automotive customer's in the Region Iberia and North Africa with a focus on Power Semiconductor.
 * Work proactively on optimised solutions for our customer's applications together with the entire European FAE Team, the Account Managers and the product experts of the headquarter.
 * Prepare and execute customer presentations and product / application trainings
 * Support our customers during the evaluation of our products.


Profile

You demonstrate strong communication skills and you are able to build a positive and trustful relationship. Moreover, you are looking for an active conversation with our customer's, you evaluate chances and risks carefully and cooperate as a team player. You are also interested in new requirements in the automotive market and exchange your knowledge and experience within the team.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

 * A University degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
 * A minimum of 3 years of experience as Application-, Field Application Engineer or Development Engineer with power semiconductor products.
 * Strong technical knowledge, competence, design experience on a system level in automotive applications.
 * Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with customers.
 * Willingness to travel.
 * Fluency in Spanish and English.
